Chloe San Jose releases debut mini album that explores love, authenticity

Rising artist Chloe San Jose, known to many as Chloe SJ, has officially unveiled her much-anticipated debut mini album titled "CHLOE ANJELEIGH…For Real." The extended play became available to listeners on Friday, May 9, marking a significant step in her musical journey.

This collection features a total of seven tracks. Alongside the two singles, "FR FR" and "Nonchalant," which she dropped back in March, the mini album introduces five brand new songs: "Iyo," "Something Right," "Tanim," "Dulo ng Bahaghari," and "Shush."

According to a press release from ABS-CBN, the core themes woven throughout the mini album are authenticity and the multifaceted nature of love. Listeners can expect a heartfelt exploration of these topics across the tracks.

For instance, the song "Iyo" delves into the feeling of recognizing true love. This particular track resonates with San Jose's personal life, as she is currently in a long-term relationship with acclaimed Filipino gymnastics champion, Carlos Yulo.

Chloe San Jose first gained prominence by sharing song covers on social media platforms. Her YouTube channel, in particular, has garnered a substantial following, boasting nearly 500,000 subscribers.

Her earlier single, "Aking Pagmamahal," released in 2019, remains a fan favorite and has achieved remarkable success online, accumulating over 30 million views on YouTube.

"CHLOE ANJELEIGH…For Real" was produced under the guidance of ABS-CBN StarPop label head, Roque “Rox” Santos. Many of the songs featured on the mini album were penned by songwriter Trisha Denise, contributing to the overall sound and narrative.
