Jollibee brings the joy of friendship to life with DreamWorks Animation’s Forgotten Island

Jollibee , is marking a milestone with its global collaboration with DreamWorks Animation for the worldwide theatrical release of Forgotten Island on September 23, 2026.

At the heart of Forgotten Island are lifelong best friends Jo and Raissa, who discover a mysterious portal that transports them to Nakali, a fantastical island filled with mythical creatures inspired by stories from their Filipino families. When they discover that returning home could come at the cost of losing the memories of their friendship, Jo and Raissa must find a way to leave the island without forgetting each other.

Forgotten Island features Filipino and Filipino-American talent including Tony Award-winning Lea Salonga, global comedy star Jo Koy, Grammy and Academy Award-winning H.E.R., actress Liza Soberano, and co-writer and co-director Januel Mercado.

“Great stories and great food both have a way of bringing people together,” said David Beal, Jollibee Group global chief marketing officer and head of digital marketing. “With DreamWorks Animation’s Forgotten Island, we’re inviting friends and families to celebrate the joy of friendship—from watching the film to sharing a delicious Jollibee meal together. It is a simple expression of what Jollibee has always stood for: serving great-tasting food and bringing the joy of eating to everyone.”

The Filipino connection extends beyond the film, with Filipino girl group, who are also Jollibee endorsers, BINI contributing the song “A Parallel World” to the Forgotten Island soundtrack. The upbeat electronic-pop track, which features English and Filipino lyrics, was released on July 23.

BINI also performed the song at the Forgotten Island panel during San Diego Comic-Con in July, further connecting the group and the film with audiences around the world. The music video for “A Parallel World” also features Jollibee, showing members of BINI enjoying their favorite meals and sharing candid moments while in the United States for the song’s recording and related activities.

“At Jollibee, we value partnerships that allow us to collaborate with world-class brands and create experiences that genuinely resonate with our customers,” said Dorothy Ching, vice president for marketing of Jollibee Philippines. “Our partnership with DreamWorks is especially meaningful because Forgotten Island brings together universal themes of friendship and family with Filipino-inspired storytelling. We are proud to be part of this global collaboration and excited to bring the spirit of the film to Jollibee communities around the world.”

The Jollibee and Forgotten Island collaboration brings together global entertainment, Filipino talent and storytelling, and Jollibee’s own spirit of togetherness, extending the experience from the big screen to everyday moments shared over a meal.

More elements of the collaboration are set to be revealed, including an exclusive Jollibee offer tied to the film. Details will be announced at a later date.

The film’s all-star voice cast also includes Emmy nominee Jenny Slate (Marcel the Shell with Shoes On, Dying for Sex), Manny Jacinto (The Good Place, Top Gun: Maverick), BAFTA nominee Dolly de Leon (Triangle of Sadness, Ghostlight), global comedy superstar Jo Koy (Haunted Mansion, Jo Koy: Live from Brooklyn) and Emmy winner Ronny Chieng (The Daily Show, M3GAN).

Customized Funko Figures: Turn Your Imagination Into a One-of-a-Kind Collectible

JC Moulds PH - Customized funko of Sofia Andres and Inigo (Sofino)
-

Looking for a unique gift that feels truly personal? Want to turn yourself, your loved ones, or someone special into a collectible figure?

At JC Moulds PH, we turn imagination into reality through our customized Funko figures—personalized 3D figures designed to capture the look, personality, profession, and special memories of the person you want to celebrate.

Whether it's a birthday, wedding, anniversary, graduation, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Father's Day, Mother's Day, or simply a surprise for someone special, a customized Funko can become a memorable keepsake that lasts for years.

What Is a Customized Funko?

A customized Funko is a personalized collectible figure inspired by the popular Funko-style aesthetic. Instead of purchasing a standard character from a store, the figure is created specifically for you.

We can customize different details such as:

  • Hairstyle and hair color
  • Clothing and uniforms
  • Accessories
  • Shoes
  • Props
  • Hobbies and interests
  • Profession
  • Special poses
  • Personalized name tags
  • Logos and designs
  • Sports equipment
  • Musical instruments
  • Work-related items
  • Other meaningful details

The goal is simple: create a figure that represents you or someone important to you.

From Imagination to Reality

Everyone has a story.

Maybe it's a couple who wants a miniature version of themselves as a wedding keepsake. Maybe it's a doctor who wants a figure wearing their medical uniform. Maybe it's a basketball player, teacher, engineer, gamer, musician, entrepreneur, or content creator who wants something that represents what they love.

That's where customized Funko figures become special.

Instead of giving an ordinary gift, you can create something that reflects the person's identity and the memories you share.

At JC Moulds PH, we believe that special people deserve special keepsakes.

A Gift That Is More Than Just a Toy

A customized Funko may look like a collectible, but its value goes beyond the figure itself.

Imagine giving your partner a miniature figure wearing the same outfit from the day you first met.

Imagine creating a wedding couple Funko wearing their wedding attire.

Imagine surprising a parent with a figure showing their profession or favorite hobby.

Imagine creating a family set where every member has their own customized figure.

These details transform a simple collectible into something much more meaningful.

It's not just a figure.

It's a memory you can hold in your hands.

Customized Funko Figures for Every Occasion

There are countless occasions where a customized figure can make an unforgettable gift.

🎂 Birthday Gifts

Surprise your friend, partner, family member, or colleague with a miniature version of themselves.

You can customize the figure with their favorite outfit, hobby, profession, or even a special birthday theme.

💍 Wedding and Anniversary

Customized couple figures are a beautiful way to commemorate an important relationship milestone.

Create figures wearing wedding attire, formal outfits, or the clothes from a special moment in your relationship.

🎓 Graduation

Celebrate someone's achievement with a customized graduate figure.

Add their graduation attire, school colors, diploma, medal, or other meaningful accessories.

👨‍⚕️ Professional Figures

Want to celebrate someone's career?

We can create customized figures inspired by different professions, including doctors, nurses, teachers, engineers, chefs, pilots, business owners, athletes, and many more.

Add the appropriate uniform, tools, equipment, and accessories to make the figure uniquely theirs.

❤️ Valentine's Day

Instead of another ordinary Valentine's gift, give your special someone a miniature version of the two of you.

Couple figures can be customized with matching outfits, romantic poses, favorite accessories, or other details that represent your relationship.

🎄 Christmas Gifts

Customized Funko figures also make memorable Christmas presents for family, friends, coworkers, and loved ones.

You can even create an entire collection featuring the people closest to you.

We Can Recreate the Details That Matter

What makes customized figures special are the little details.

A pair of glasses.

A favorite hairstyle.

A specific uniform.

A guitar.

A camera.

A basketball.

A stethoscope.

A favorite bag.

A beloved pet.

A name tag.

A company logo.

These small elements can make a big difference in making the figure feel personal.

At JC Moulds PH, we work with your ideas and reference photos to create a design that captures the important characteristics you want included.

Turn Your Loved One Into a Collectible

One of the most exciting things about customized Funko figures is that almost anyone can become a collectible.

Your parents.

Your partner.

Your best friend.

Your boss.

Your favorite teacher.

Your teammates.

Your coworkers.

Your family.

Or even yourself.

You can create individual figures or a complete set representing an entire family, barkada, team, or organization.

Customized Figures for Businesses and Organizations

Customized figures aren't only for personal gifts.

Businesses and organizations can also use customized figures for special projects, employee recognition, corporate gifts, events, and promotional purposes.

For example, companies can create customized figures representing their employees or team members.

You can incorporate uniforms, company branding, accessories, and other recognizable elements to create a unique collectible.

This can be an especially memorable way to celebrate milestones, achievements, anniversaries, or special events.

Why Choose JC Moulds PH?

At JC Moulds PH, we don't simply want to produce another generic figure.

Our goal is to help you create something personal.

We understand that every customer has a different story and a different idea of what makes a figure special.

That's why customization is at the heart of what we do.

From imagination to reality, we can recreate your special someone in the most special and unforgettable way—and immortalize that memory as a collectible figure.

Your Idea, Your Story, Your Figure

The best customized Funko figures start with an idea.

It can be as simple as:

"I want a figure of my boyfriend wearing his favorite basketball jersey."

Or:

"I want a figure of my mom wearing her nurse uniform."

Or:

"I want a miniature version of our entire family."

From there, the idea can become a real physical collectible.

You provide the inspiration and the memories.

JC Moulds PH helps turn them into something you can keep.

A Keepsake That Lasts

Trends come and go, but meaningful memories remain.

Photos are wonderful, but a customized 3D figure gives you another way to preserve a special moment.

It can sit on your desk, shelf, bedside table, office, or display cabinet as a constant reminder of someone important or a moment you'll never forget.

Years from now, you can look at that figure and remember exactly why it was created.

That's what makes personalized collectibles special.

Create Your Customized Funko With JC Moulds PH

Have an idea for a customized Funko figure?

Whether you're creating a gift for someone special, commemorating an important milestone, celebrating a profession, or simply turning yourself into a collectible, JC Moulds PH can help bring your concept to life.

Your imagination is the beginning. Your memories are the inspiration. And the finished figure becomes something you can treasure.

From Imagination to Reality

At JC Moulds PH, we believe that there are no limits to what a personalized collectible can represent.

Give us your idea.

Give us your photos.

Tell us the story behind it.

And let's create something truly special.

JC Moulds PH — Turning special moments into unforgettable collectibles.

soundcore Launches Space 2 with Big Sound, All-Day Battery Life and Great Value

MANILA, Philippines – Whether it’s a daily commute, working in a café, or a long-haul flight, moments of uninterrupted focus have become increasingly rare, making the right pair of headphones an everyday essential. For this reason, soundcore, the premium audio brand under Anker Innovations, introduces the new Space 2 headphones.

Designed to deliver first-class comfort, the Space 2 combines intelligent noise cancellation, immersive audio, and all-day wearability to offer big sound and long battery life at great value – keeping pace with everything from daily commutes and workdays to long flights and travels.

Intelligent sound and supreme comfort

The Space 2 features an advanced adaptive noise cancellation that intelligently responds to changing environments. Its four-stage noise cancellation technology automatically adjusts to surrounding conditions, effectively reducing low-frequency sounds like city traffic and airplane engines.

For a more personalized listening experience, users can customize their sound through  the soundcore app, which features an eight-band equalizer that allows them to fine-tune audio based on their preferred music genres and listening styles.

Complementing its immersive audio is an equally thoughtful design for all-day comfort. Its ergonomic over-ear design features soft memory foam padding that naturally adapts to different head shapes, delivering a secure yet cushioned fit that stays comfortable for hours. Integrated controls on the ear cups provide quick access to playback, volume, power, and a customizable multi-function button that can switch noise-canceling modes or be programmed for features such as soundcore’s AI assistant Anka, real-time translation, and other shortcuts.

Built for better workdays

Whether working remotely or taking calls on-the-go, the Space 2 is equipped with three AI-enhanced microphones that intelligently reduce background noise while isolating the user’s voice for clearer calls and virtual meetings.

Bluetooth 6.1 allows users to stay connected to both their smartphone and laptop simultaneously, making it effortless to switch between music, meetings and calls. Smart Wearing Detection adds another layer of convenience by automatically pausing audio when the headphones are removed and resuming playback once they're worn again.

Battery life ready for all-day listening

Great sound and all-day comfort are only part of the equation. The Space 2's long battery life ensures it's ready to keep pace with busy schedules, offering up to 50 hours of playback with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) enabled and  up to 70 hours with ANC turned off, minimizing the need for frequent charging.

Running low before heading out on a run or maybe a walk isn't a problem either; just five minutes of charging provides up to four  hours of listening time, perfect before heading out for a workout, commute or flight. The headphones charge via USB-C and come complete with an AUX cable and protective carrying pouch.

Where to get the soundcore Space 2

Whether it's making long-haul travel more comfortable, tuning out distractions during the daily commute, or staying focused throughout the workday, the Space 2 delivers premium features typically found in higher-priced headphones.

Completed short films get their shot at Puregold CinePanalo Film Festival Panorama Shorts Section

Puregold CinePanalo Film Festival is bolstering its support for Filipino filmmakers by introducing—for the first time ever—the new Panorama Shorts Section, which will feature previously completed short films from both professional and student filmmakers.

Set apart from the festival’s grant categories, where selected filmmakers receive production funding to create new films, the Panorama Shorts Section is designed as a curated showcase of finished works. The initiative will allow more filmmakers to join the festival even if they did not participate in its production grant program.

The new section will feature ten never-before-shown Filipino short films, each marking its national premiere during the 2026 Puregold CinePanalo Film Festival. The selected films will be screened at Gateway Cineplex 18 and select Ayala Cinemas from September 23 to October 4.

“The Panorama Shorts Section is yet another way for Puregold CinePanalo to continue expanding opportunities for Filipino filmmakers,” said Ivy Hayagan-Piedad, Senior Marketing Manager of Puregold.

“Every year, we see more deserving stories and more exceptional talent that deserve to be discovered. Through the Panorama Shorts Section, we’re granting another platform where these Filipino voices can reach audiences on the big screen.”

The Panorama Shorts Section is open to Filipino filmmakers who are at least 15 years old, including students, emerging filmmakers, independent creators, and industry professionals.

Eligible entries must be completed short films with a maximum running time of 20 minutes. Films must have finished production between January 1, 2025 and July 30, 2026, with all music and other creative materials in either original form or properly cleared for commercial use.

To preserve the excitement of discovery, selected films must be making their Philippine premiere. Student thesis films that have only been screened within their respective academic institutions remain eligible.

Submissions are open until 11:59 p.m. on August 15, 2026. Applicants must complete the online application form at the following link. The form requires a screener link to the finished film, a synopsis and logline in either Filipino or English, the director’s résumé with links to previous works, and two recent photographs.

The official selection of ten Panorama Shorts Section films will be announced on August 23, 2026.

Although the Panorama Shorts Section is a non-competition showcase, one selected film will receive the Best Panorama Short Film award along with a ₱100,000 cash prize, to be presented during the annual Puregold CinePanalo Film Festival Awards Night.

Hayagan-Piedad encourages filmmakers from across the country—whether students, emerging storytellers, or experienced creators—to submit their completed films and become part of Puregold CinePanalo’s growing celebration of Filipino cinema.

Puregold Highlights Sari-Sari Stores’ Role in Driving Grassroots Commerce and MSME Growth

In its final installment of the Sari-Sari Stories, Puregold releases “Pangalan,” a moving tribute to the sari-sari stores that continue to power daily life, grassroots enterprise, and community connection across the Philippines.

Following “Ways,” “The Sign,” and “The Witness,” Puregold broadens the conversation from nostalgia to economic relevance, highlighting how sari-sari stores continue to serve as accessible retail touchpoints, community anchors, and entry-level enterprises that support household livelihoods in the country.

Sari-sari stores go beyond informal neighborhood retail. They function as last-mile commerce points that respond to everyday consumer needs with proximity, familiarity, and flexible purchasing options. Their resilience has allowed them to remain relevant even as the retail landscape continues to evolve.

That economic role is matched by social relevance. At the heart of Pangalan is the idea that sari-sari stores are more than neighborhood shops: they are trusted spaces that people turn to not only for essentials, but for connection and reliability. The film captures this dual role in distinctly Filipino terms: the store as tanungan, tambayan, and takbuhan.

The narrative is reinforced by appearances of OPM artists Jhoanna Robles of BINI, Stell Ajero of SB19, and Skusta Clee, whose personal recollections reflect the deep familiarity of sari-sari stores in Filipino life. Their participation adds cultural relevance to a message ultimately anchored in enterprise, accessibility, and community-based retail.

Puregold’s focus on this segment remains rooted in mass-market demand and the practical realities of everyday consumption. By spotlighting community-based retail, the company reinforces its relevance at the grassroots level while drawing attention to the vital contribution of MSMEs to the domestic economy.

The timing is equally strategic, with MSMEs already looking ahead at the upcoming Puregold Tindahan Ni Aling Puring Sari-Sari Store Convention in May. The annual event has become a key platform for sari-sari store owners, entrepreneurs, and partner suppliers, underscoring Puregold’s enduring commitment to small business development and ecosystem growth.

Puregold’s Got My Eyes on You drops truth bombs on the realities of modern dating

Can two workplace achievers compete for a promotion yet fall in love as they do? The answer apparently is yes, as depicted in Puregold’s TikTok BL series Got My Eyes on You, the story of Drew (Miko Morales) and Shawn (Esteban Mara) and how their disparate circumstances and a common goal drive them closer rather than apart.

With an undercurrent of romantic tension between them, Shawn and Drew are shown navigating a brewing office romance as they savor light moments with their friends and co-workers Moira (Hannah Lee) and Wilfred (Darwin Yu). Indeed, with GMEOY’s honest take on love, friendship, and ambition, the episodes readily ensnare hearts and rack up views.

Beyond all this, however, viewers may expect GMEOY to shed light on the beautiful yet confusing realities of modern dating.

Here are some truths about love revealed on Puregold’s Got My Eyes on You.

For many of us, responsibilities come before romance.

In Episode 14, Drew opens up to Shawn on why the General Manager position means so much to him. He says, “Ako nagpapaaral sa mga kapatid ko,” he admits, showing that his goals come from a place of love and duty.

Meanwhile, although he comes from a wealthy family, Shawn also wants to prove himself. In today’s world, many can relate to putting dreams and family first, even as love quietly grows in the background.

‘No labels’ means no rules, but all the feelings.

In Episodes 17 to 19, Drew begins to realize that he is falling for Shawn. When he sees Shawn chatting with someone else, jealousy creeps in, even if he knows he has no right to feel that way. He asks, “Ano ba tayo para magselos ako?”

Modern dating often encourages “no labels” and situations, which entail having feelings while pretending you’re not supposed to.

Work and love don’t always mix well.

In Episode 15, Sir Trevor (Victor Sy) confronts Drew and Shawn about their growing closeness. “May relasyon ba kayong dalawa kaya pati ang work, apektado?” Both then try to keep things professional, even avoiding each other in Episode 16.

However, their rivalry for the General Manager position only makes things more complicated, especially as the attraction becomes even harder to ignore.

Confession is hard, even when it’s obvious.

In Episode 18, the trepidation we usually feel when we reveal our feelings manifests when Drew wonders, “What if hindi niya ako gusto?”

The truth is, we all want to be honest but are held back by the fear of rejection. In the modern dating world, people safeguard their hearts with humor and subtlety—and taking the first step is the hardest thing to do.

Sometimes, friends give you the push you need.

As things turn awkward between Drew and Shawn in Episode 20, Shawn turns to Moira and Wilfred for advice. Just like in the real world, friends listen, tease, and push you toward what you are too afraid to do yourself.

In Episode 24, Moira and Wilfred even conspire to have Drew and Shawn share a night shift. Sometimes, love needs a little help from the people who see it before you do.

Love can grow in the most ordinary moments.

Even as they try to fight it, Drew and Shawn fall deeper for each other during simple shared moments—vet visits, a casual photoshoot, a deep conversation.

This reminds us that even in the complicated world of modern dating, love does not always need drama or grand gestures. Sometimes, time, laughter, and openness are enough.

For more insight on the realities of modern dating, catch the latest episodes of Got My Eyes on You on the Puregold TikTok Channel (@puregoldph).

Fans of Got My Eyes on You can also watch for the Director’s Cut of the series, available on YouTube starting November 27, with new episodes airing every Thursday at 7 PM.
