How to claim you ePhilID

On October 3, 2022, Dennis Mapa, the national statistician and general civil registrar of the Philippine Statistics Authority, made this announcement.

In order to meet the objective of 30 million cards, the Philippine Statistics Authority intends to deliver 20 million electronic versions of the national ID, to be known as "ePhilID," by the end of 2022.

The ePhilID may be laminated and printed at PhilSys registration locations.

The features and validity of a physical ID are present in ePhilID.

In the National Capital Region, Bulacan, and Pampanga, the electronic version distribution has commenced.

It will be put into practice nationwide.

Because PSA's printing partner, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, has a restricted printing capacity, the issuance of physical national ID cards has been postponed.

BSP intends to speed up the procedure by adding more machines.

Currently, about 70 million Filipinos have registered for the national ID or PhilSys Registration, according to the PSA.

HOW TO CLAIM YOUR EPHILID

ePhilID is free. Here are the processes to get it:

1. I-access ang https://trn-verifier.philsys.gov.ph. Basahin ang Privacy Notice at i-check ang box sa "I Agree" para magpatuloy sa proseso.
2. Ilagay ang transaction number na nakasaad sa transaction slip na ibinigay matapos ang inyong PhilSys Step 2 Registration.
3. Ilagay ang mga kinakailangang impormasyon (pangalan, e-mail address at contact number). Magpapadala ng code sa ibinigay na contact details kaya siguraduhing ang mobile number at/o e-mail address ay kasalukuyang aktibo.
4. Pumili ng registration center kung saan nais i-claim ng ePhilID.
5. Ilagay ang One-Time Password (OTP) na ipinadala sa e-mail address o contact number.
6. Pumili ng araw at oras ng appointment.
7. I-check ang mga detalye ng appointment. Tandaan na ito ay hindi maaaring gamitin ng ibang tao.
8. May appointment slip na ipapadala sa e-mail address na ibinigay. Maaari itong i-print o i-save sa mobile device.
9. Pumunta sa registration center na napili sa petsa at oras ng appointment, at ipakita ang appoinment slip, transaction slip at isang (1) valid ID.
