Comedy Manila brings back Joketober Fest 2025

As the spooky season approaches, Comedy Manila is set to conjure up laughs, not scares, with the highly anticipated return of Joketober Fest this October! Prepare for a week brimming with comedic brilliance as various stand-up talents take the stage across multiple cities.

Building on the success of its 2023 run, which boasted 19 diverse shows, Joketober Fest 2025 promises even more good vibes. From October 11 to 19, laughter will echo through Quezon City, San Juan, Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in Taguig, and Manila. Tickets are available for performances, ranging from P300 to P1,000, with all the ticketing specifics conveniently listed on Comedy Manila's official website.

The festival kicks off on October 11 with a bang, featuring none other than The KoolPals, the hilarious minds behind 2024’s Top Comedy Podcast. They'll be bringing their signature humor to Barrels and Brews, Palm Grove Bar at Century Park Hotel Manila, setting a lively beach party atmosphere alongside rising hip-hop stars Waiian, Ruijikun, and Tats Maven.

October 12 offers a double dose of distinctive comedy. Afternoon Tea-tas presents a refreshing, female-led showcase, where a dynamic lineup including Aya Kayali, Margie De Leon, Diana Aaron, and Pura Luka will serve up witty punchlines and playful shade. Later, get ready for brainy-meets-bonkers humor with Bobo Debates, a showdown where comedians like Alexio Tabafunda and Red Ollero hilariously argue over the most absurd topics.

Mid-festival, October 14 shines a spotlight on both fresh faces and seasoned favorites. Absolute Mega Vets Vol. 2 introduces the next generation of stand-up stars, including Chino Liao and Uli Oposa, ready to deliver bold new material. Meanwhile, the Best of Open Mic: Grand Finals will gather battle-tested performers and crowd favorites like Margie De Leon and Patrick Bobis for a high-energy comedic contest.

The grand finale on October 19 promises an unforgettable spectacle, transforming Joketober Fest into a full-blown music and laughter extravaganza dubbed "Rock and LOL." Held at the SM Skydome in SM North EDSA, Quezon City, this closing night will feature The KoolPals sharing the stage with iconic OPM bands such as The Dawn, Kjwan, Tanya Markova, Autotelic, and Lola Amour, ensuring the festival ends on the highest possible note.
