Eraserheads’ Electric Fun Music Festival postponed to 2026

Fans hoping to catch the Eraserheads' Electric Fun Music Festival will need to mark a new date on their calendars, as organizers have announced its second postponement, now pushing the event to 2026.

Originally slated for May 31 at the SMDC Festival Grounds in Parañaque City, the highly anticipated event was first rescheduled to October of this year. However, WEU Events Management Services confirmed on Tuesday, September 16, that a further delay was unavoidable.

The organizers stated the decision "was not made lightly," citing a combination of factors: "political instability, economic uncertainty, and growing climate-related concerns." They explained that these "unforeseen developments" directly impacted their operational capacity and planning efforts.

Emphasizing their commitment to delivering an event that upholds the "high standards and transformative experience" the festival represents, the organizers concluded that postponing was "the most responsible path forward at this time."

For those who will no longer be able to attend in 2026, full refunds will be issued. Further details and instructions regarding the refund process are expected to be announced soon.

Despite the wait, the festival promises an unforgettable experience, featuring a long set by the Eraserheads themselves – Ely Buendia, Buddy Zabala, Raymund Marasigan, and Marcus Adoro. The event is also set to include the live debut of their unreleased song, "Get This Love Thing Down," a track conceptualized by the band members.

The Electric Fun Music Festival’s lineup, personally curated by the Eraserheads, will also showcase a stellar roster of Filipino talent including The Itchyworms, Moonstar88, Basti Artadi, Dong Abay Music Organization, Imago, Blaster, Carousel Casualties, ALYSON, Party Pace, Pinkmen, Sa Vie, and General Luna.
