Coca-cola is widely known to provide us the all-time favorite thirst-quencher - COKE. Among the elements, liquid element is also the life of COKE. Coca-Cola returns safely returns water they used for COKE production via the Coca-Cola Foundation - AGOS RAM PUMP PROJECT.

What is a Ram Pump?
The Ram Pump itself is a 200-year old technology which utilizes the neutral kinetic energy contained in free flowing water to transport large volumes of water to upland communities without the use of electricity or fossil fuel.

Recently, (June 24, 2013) Coca-Cola opened their 34th Agos Ram Pump in Sitio Lower Macopoy, Brgy. Mascap, Rodriguez, Rizal. The turnover ceremony was held, Official Technicians of the Ram Pump were given certificates of training and welcome remarks was done by officials and foundation representatives. After the ceremony a little picnic was prepared by the community and everyone enjoyed the fresh foods, of course made perfect with Coca-cola drinks!

The Community of Brgy. Mascap was really thankful for this gift given to them, and promised to take care of the clean, safe water they will be using from now on. aside from the clean water, Livelihood programs are being taken-up for their additional income help, also the foundations want to develop organic soap to maintain the cleanliness of water of the Ram Pump.
The Flagship project of Agos is the Agos Hydraulic Ram Pump Project, launched in November 2011 as a partnership between Coca-Cola, Earth Day Network, and the 2011 Ramon Magsaysay Awardee for Outstanding Organization, the Alternative Indigenous Foundation (AIDFI).
