Joy Barcoma of Bacoor is Miss Philippines Earth 2025

A new queen has emerged! Joy Barcoma, representing Bacoor, has officially claimed the coveted Miss Philippines Earth 2025 crown. The glittering coronation night unfolded on Sunday, August 10, at the luxurious Okada Manila in Parañaque City.

The moment of triumph saw Barcoma gracefully receive her crown from her predecessor, Irha Mel Alfeche of Matanao, Davao del Sur. Alfeche herself made a commendable run in Miss Earth 2024, securing a spot in the Top 12, where Australia's Jessica Lane ultimately took the global title.

Barcoma's journey to the crown was a competitive one, as she successfully bested 35 other talented candidates from across the Philippines and the Filipino diaspora. During the same grand event, the Miss Earth Philippines organization also unveiled her distinguished elemental court: Maria Flordeliz Mabao of Antipolo as Miss Philippines Air 2025, Angel Rose Tambal of La Paz, Leyte as Miss Philippines Water 2025, and Jaymie Strickland, representing the Filipino community of Tallahassee, Florida, USA, as Miss Philippines Fire 2025. Additionally, Kriezl Jane Torres of Talakag, Bukidnon, was honored as Miss Philippines Eco-Tourism 2025.

The remaining candidates who reached the Top 10 but did not secure an elemental title were recognized as official runners-up. With her new title, Joy Barcoma now carries the immense responsibility and honor of representing the Philippines on the international stage at Miss Earth 2025.
