Brent Manalo hopes to star in romcom with Mika Salamanca

Fans of the 'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition' winning duo, Brent Manalo and Mika Salamanca, popularly known as BreKa, might have more to look forward to even after their successful run in the iconic house. It seems their partnership could extend to the silver screen.

During the recent grand launch of the 51st Metro Manila Film Festival, Brent was among the Kapamilya big winners present. When asked about the film genres he would be interested in exploring, his answer was swift.

Brent expressed a desire to star in a romantic comedy, aiming for a lighthearted project. When hosts Enchong Dee and Kaladkaren pressed him on his preferred leading lady, he didn't hesitate, naming his PBB partner, Mika.

Brent and Mika made history as the first ever Big Winner duo of 'Pinoy Big Brother,' concluding their journey with a shared victory and a cash prize of P1 million each.

Demonstrating their generosity, the duo revealed plans to donate their winnings to the Duyan Ni Maria Children’s Home, an orphanage located in Pampanga. Mika had reportedly considered donating her prize even before the final results were announced.

BreKa secured their top spot by earning 33.03% of the total combined votes, surpassing other duos like Ralph de Leon and Will Ashley (RaWi), Charlie Fleming and Esnyr Ranollo (CharEs), and AZ Martinez and River Joseph (AzVer).
