LOOK: Conan O’Brien spotted by fans in Bonifacio Global City

Filipino fans in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig, received a thrilling surprise on Monday, October 13, as American television host and comedian Conan O’Brien was spotted around the area.

The beloved late-night icon is currently in the Philippines to film for his global travel series, "Conan O’Brien Must Go." His production company, Team Coco, confirmed his arrival on Instagram with a post that read, “Mabuhay, Philippines! Just landed in Manila to shoot #ConanOBrienMustGo and I’ve already met so many amazing people.”

Lucky locals managed to snap photos with the Television Academy Hall of Fame awardee, sharing their excitement across social media. The buzz wasn't limited to fans alone; several Filipino celebrities also chimed in with their reactions.

Among them, "Unang Hirit" host Drew Arellano playfully asked about Conan’s producer, Jordan Schlansky, in the comments. Actress and singer Saab Magalona shared her delight on Instagram, humorously declaring Conan her “ultimate crush.” Rovilson Fernandez, an "Amazing Race" alum and TV host, also commented, expressing a wish for Conan to bring his famous puppet character, Triumph The Insult Comic Dog, to "roast our politicians."

Conan O’Brien boasts a distinguished career spanning decades. He began as a writer for "Saturday Night Live" in 1988 and later contributed to "The Simpsons" before becoming one of the most recognized figures in US late-night television. Over 25 years, he helmed "Late Night with Conan O’Brien" (1993-2009), had a brief stint on "The Tonight Show" (2009-10), and hosted "Conan" on TBS (2010-2021).

Looking ahead, O'Brien is set to host the prestigious Academy Awards in March 2026, marking another significant milestone after also hosting the 2025 iteration.
