Wedding bells have officially rung for Miss Universe Philippines 2021, Beatrice Luigi Gomez, as she recently exchanged vows with her now-husband, musician and global DJ John Odin.

The beautiful couple celebrated their union in an intimate ceremony held in La Union. Guests shared glimpses of the private outdoor reception on Gomez's Instagram stories on Wednesday, October 8, where the newlyweds beamed with joy. Beatrice looked stunning in a white gown complemented by a delicate lace cape, while John opted for a traditional barong tagalog.

Gomez, who made history in 2021 as the first openly queer woman to win the Miss Universe Philippines crown, first publicly shared a photo with Odin on Valentine's Day in 2022, marking their initial public acknowledgment.

This joyous occasion follows a challenging period for Gomez, who announced her separation from her former girlfriend, Kate Jagdon, in November 2021, shortly after her Miss Universe Philippines victory. She later spoke about the difficulties faced in their six-year relationship, including alleged infidelity, which added to the emotional intensity of her preparations for the international pageant.
