IV of Spades to hold solo concert in December

Get ready, IV of Spades fans! The electrifying Filipino quartet is set to take center stage for their highly anticipated solo concert at the iconic SM Mall of Asia Arena this December 12. Event organizer KARPOS officially announced the show on Sunday, October 5, sparking immense excitement among music enthusiasts.

Those eager to witness the band live can mark their calendars for ticket sales, which commence on October 12 at 12 PM, available exclusively through SM Tickets. A range of ticket prices has been released to accommodate all fans, including Floor Standing at P4,500, LB Premium at P6,500, LB Regular at P5,500, UB Premium at P3,500, UB Regular at P3,000, GA Premium at P2,000, and GA Regular at P1,500.

This major concert announcement caps off a remarkable year for the band, which saw the reunion of its original lineup: Unique Salonga, Blaster Silonga, Badjao de Castro, and Zild Benitez. Their return has been celebrated with a series of surprise single releases throughout the year, captivating their dedicated fanbase once more.

The quartet re-emerged with the single "Aura" on July 16, followed by "Nanaman" on August 13, and "Konsensya" on September 10, building anticipation for their upcoming work. Furthermore, fans can look forward to the debut of their 12-track second album, "Andalucia," scheduled for release on November 5. This new record follows six years after their critically acclaimed first album, "CLAPCLAPCLAP!," which dropped in 2019.

IV of Spades had previously gone on an indefinite hiatus in August 2020, with members choosing to pursue individual interests and take a much-needed break from the band. This period followed Unique Salonga's departure in 2018 to focus on his own projects, while Badjao joined the experimental rock supergroup Party Pace, and both Zild and Blaster successfully launched careers as solo artists.
