Get ready for a massive dose of Filipino talent on the global stage! P-pop sensation BINI and international girl group KATSEYE, featuring Filipina member Sophia Laforteza, are officially confirmed to perform at the prestigious Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April 2026. This marks a significant milestone for both groups, bringing Filipino pop power to one of the world's most iconic music events.
The highly anticipated full lineup, revealed this past Tuesday, September 16, places both dynamic girl groups on the same stage as an impressive roster of global artists. Attendees can look forward to seeing them alongside major acts such as Sabrina Carpenter, The XX, and Disclosure, making for an unforgettable festival experience in Indio, California.
For BINI, comprised of members Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena, this will be their debut appearance at Coachella. The group has captivated audiences with viral hits like “Pantropiko,” “Salamin, Salamin,” “Cherry on Top,” “Blink Twice,” and “Karera.” Their journey to Coachella follows a whirlwind year, including a historic performance of “Cherry on Top” at KCON LA's pre-show, making them the first Filipino pop act to grace that festival. They also successfully concluded their "Biniverse World Tour 2025," which saw them electrifying crowds from the Philippine Arena to London, Dubai, the US, Canada, and finally, the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Fans can also celebrate BINI's recent activities, including the release of their vibrant music video for the single “Shagidi,” which aims to spark interest in Filipino culture, and the exciting announcement of their upcoming "Journey Through the BINIverse: A BINI Photo Journal."
Joining them for their first Coachella performance is KATSEYE, a powerhouse group featuring leader Sophia, Manon, Daniela, Lara, Megan, and Yoonchae. This year has already been monumental for KATSEYE, who recently earned the Push Performance of the Year award at the MTV Video Music Awards 2025 for their hit track “Touch.” Their discography also includes popular singles such as “Debut,” “Gnarly,” and “Gabriela.”
Before hitting Coachella, KATSEYE wowed crowds at Lollapalooza in Chicago this past August and is currently preparing for their "Beautiful Chaos USA tour," kicking off in November. The broader Coachella 2026 lineup promises an eclectic mix, with Saturdays featuring artists like The Strokes, Addison Rae, and Taemin, while Sundays will see performances from Karol G, BIGBANG, and Iggy Pop, among others.
For those eager to witness this incredible lineup live, mark your calendars! Ticket sales for Coachella 2026 begin on Friday, September 19, at 11 am PT. Prospective attendees are encouraged to register in advance to secure their spots at this must-attend festival.
