"Let It Go" song of Disney's Frozen really became a much anticipation for fans to hear this song from their singer idols. Aisa's Songbird Regine Velasquez, finally applies her version to the song last Valentines Day concert with the Concert King Martin Nievera at the MOA Arena. Velasquez's verstion is acombination version of Idina Menzel and Demi Lovato's version, she owned the song with her famous highnotes.

Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez's dearest friends in showbiz sent their condolences to Mr. Velasquez over the social media.

"Rest in peace, Mang Gerry. My condolences to @reginevalcasid and her entire family. My prayers to all of you," Madela tweeted.

"RIP Mang Gerry. Our deepest condolences, @reginevalcasid @cacaimitra @ogiealcasid,"Zsa Zsa Padilla said.

Always present, forever supportive. I don't think of Reg without thinking of you. To Ogie and Regine, you are in our prayers and we send hugs to you and your family."

Regine Velasquez’s much-awaited album Hulog Ka Ng Langit celebrates the joy of love and motherhood. And, the Asia’s Songbird wants her fans to celebrate her blessings with her in a string of special shows.

The Hulog Ka Ng Langit album tour goes to Robinson’s Magnolia (Nov. 16, Saturday), Robinson’s Manila (Nov. 20, Wednesday), SM Marilao (November 28, Thursday), SM Pampanga (December 1, Sunday), and SM Sta. Rosa (December 11, Wednesday). All shows start at 5:00 p.m.

The album, composed of songs that give inspiration to wives and mothers, has the beautifully-penned Hulog Ka Ng Langit as debut single and title track of the album. The song truly embodies what the album is all about – unconditional love between husbands and wives, and mothers to children.

With Regine’s gift of amazing vocals, she has given new life to songs like Hele Ni Inay, Someone’s Waiting For You, Happiness, You, God Gave Me You and Just The Way You Are, a duet with husband Ogie Alcasid. The songs included in the album also feature some of the best arrangers, musicians in the country.

GMA Films and Viva Films released the official movie poster and trailer for the romantic comedy “Of All The Things” starring Regine Velasquez and Aga Muhlach.


Based from the song popularized by Dennis Lambert, “Of All the Things” is a co-production of Viva Films and GMA Films with Bb. Joyce Bernal at the helm. Bernal also directed the 2001 romantic movie “Pangako…Ikaw Lang” which also starred Aga and Regine.

Aga’s last movie was the 2011 romantic drama “In the Name of Love” co-starring him with Angel Locsin. Regine’s last romantic movie was “Paano Kita Iibigin” (2008) with Piolo Pascual as her leading man.

Now, Aga and Regine are reunited with “Of All the Things.” Their first film together was “Dahil May Isang Ikaw.” It was a box-office hit in 1998. Their second film together, “Pangako…Ikaw Lang”, was also a box office hit in 2001. In fact, Regine Velasquez won the Box Office Queen award from the Guillermo Mendoza Scholarship Foundation for that movie that year.

Will their 3rd movie together become another hit at the box office now that both actors are in their early 40s? Does age matter in a romantic movie?

After 3 years of filming, “Of All The Things” will finally open in theaters nationwide on September 26, 2012.

This one night only solo major concert of the year celebrates the Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez' 25th year in the industry (1986-2011) on November 16 at the Mall of Asia Arena.


“Actually 26th year ko na ito pero hindi ko kasi na-celebrate last year yung 25th ko bilang nabuntis ako,” explains Regine.

Regine Velasquez is the first ever Filipino to stage a solo concert at the Mall of Asia Arena.

During her pregnancy, Regine Velasquez, grew to a staggering 165lbs. Now that she’s back in show business after giving birth to baby Nathaniel, she’s targeting 125lbs!



For most of us, this is “a giant leap for mankind” but not for Regine, who is determined to transform the extra flabs to sexy curves in time for her anniversary concert in November.

Regine says she’s currently on Southbeach diet, which she said, has helped her bring her weight down by 12 lbs.

Although the ideal weight for her height is 115lbs., Regine thinks that she would look “too skinny” if she’d target that weight. Instead, she decided to target 125 lbs.

Now, she’s trying to lose 15lbs. in a month, but she’s taking it easy. She also admits to having a diet “cheat day,” which she said was necessary in order to “fool” her body into thinking that she has not changed her usual diet.

“Kasi ang hirap yung you’re trying to burn calories tapos you’re on a diet, ang hirap e, ang hirap pagsabayin.”

Regine is a host of GMA’s new showbiz magazine program H.O.T. TV, which will have its premiere telecast on August 5, replacing “Showbiz Central”. She is joined by Jennylyn Mercado, Raymond Gutierrezand veteran comedian Roderick Paulate. It airs every Sunday after “Together Forever” on GMA-7.
