Jessie J reveals breast cancer diagnosis

UK singer-songwriter Jessie J recently shared some significant personal news with her followers, revealing on Wednesday, June 4, that she has been diagnosed with "early" breast cancer. This diagnosis came to light before the release of her latest single, "No Secrets," which debuted in late April.

Sharing her thoughts candidly, Jessie J, known offstage as Jessica Ellen Cornish, stated, "Cancer sucks in any form, but I’m holding onto the word ‘early.’" She explained her decision to be open about her health journey, admitting that she hadn't been processing the news fully because she had been working intensely.

The artist also provided an update on her treatment plan, noting that she will undergo surgery. She mentioned she would be taking a temporary break from her musical activities following the annual Summertime Ball music festival to focus on her recovery.

Looking forward, she conveyed a mix of resilience and humor regarding her return, telling fans, "I will come back with massive tits and more music."
