Cosmopolitan Climbs Life Plan Inc. was a merged company of the two reputable companies in what they do business -- Cosmopolitan Memorial Chapels and CLIMBS Life and General Insurance Cooperative -- Cimbs was established in 1971 and focuses on mutual protection for coop member and was able to build up a name for them while Cosmopolitan Funeral Homes has been in business since 1950 and has provided better service for thousands of families when their memorial needs.
In line with this merge, both parties from Cosmopolitan Memorial Chapels and CLIMBS, believe that this is a right formula to provide even better Insurance plans whether Life or Non-Life, than ever before!
This merging was approved by the Insurance Commission (IC) in fact CCLPI launching was commenced by Insurance Commissioner Dennis Funa.
“It is now time that the private sector and the cooperative sector can join forces. We aim to serve the marginalized sector or the grassroots. And with the synergy, we know that there is no room for failure,” said Mr. Fermin Gonzales, CCLPI Group Executive Officer.

- Availability of service on a 24-hour Basis with just ONE PHONE CALL
- Retrieval of body from place of death using service vehicle of Mortuary
- Assistance in documentation requirements i.e. processing of death certificate and burial permits (fees, if any, not included)
- Embalming services – sanitation and preservation of the body using local chemicals
- Provide professional cosmetological care to details of appearance
- Provide casket based on CLIMBS Life Plan option chosen
- Viewing equipment and paraphernalia: 1 standard set of viewing lights, casket stand, announcement board and carpet

Other Provisions
- Applicant/client must be in Good Health
- You must be between 18-69 years old
- You will need NO Medical Underwriting
- Six (6) Months Contestability Period
- Only (1) policy per person (multiple Policy not allowed)
- Un-rendered Service pays 100% of CLIMBS Life Plan package.
