Kapuso Teen Actor Derrick Monasterio gives back to Nayon ng Kabataan in Mandaluyong as he celebrates his 18th birthday.

In spite of the heavy rain due to Maring storm, Derrick Monasterio went to Nayon ng Kabataan of DSWD located at Mandaluyong to visit the kids and celebrate his birthday with them. August 21 is Derrick's real birth date still he wanted to give back and celebrate it with the kids of Nayon ng Kabataan.

Derrick revealed that he was really a kids lover and its really good to give back to them and entertain them for sometimes specially the actor being the Ambassador of the National Youth Council. The kids were so glad to see their Idol in person, smiles were there in every kid.

The Kids sang Happy Birthday for Derrick. The Teen Actor hosted the whole event he moderated the games played. Derrick gave a number sang "Kahit Isang Saglit." After the singing and games, Derrick is the one who distributed meals to every kid. After meal, Derrick blown his cakes' candle and shared them with Fernandos Bakery cupcakes to all the happy kids.

Derrick revealed his wishes for his birthday, of course he wished more success of his career, more project and he wished betterment of the Philippines. Derrick also revealed that if ever he would bt out of showbiz, he would like to be a Basketball player or a Politician.
