Todays one of the most sought after leading man, Alden Richards widens his career path as he is now an official recording artist with his self-titled Album "Alden Richards" under Universal Records.

The album was launched two weeks ago at Trinoma Activity Center, where his fans tropped and proved that Alden is one of the biggest and remarkable star in showbiz, which Alden describes that event was really unexpected for him to see huge fans waiting for him - "Sobrang hindi ko po inexpect na ganoon sila ka warm, kaya sobrang thankful"

During the Presscon of his Album,  Alden revealed the works they did for the Album. He admits that he did some preparations needed for the album to be at its best. He told that before he records, he must be in the best condition and have the best rest which he gives a compliment to his voice coach for that practice. 

The album consists of 7 tracks in which it has 4
tagalog songs and two english songs, Alden proudly answered a question why does most of the songs are tagalog, - "Mas madaling kantahin, at syempre kasi pinoy tayo eh" but he added that he is also up with english songs in the future. Alden expressed gratitude for the people behind his career step success -"I really am very thankful that people went out to support me, I have given everything I have for this project." says the Kapuso star.

The Album's debut single Haplos reaches the top of MyMusicCharts, also part of the series Mundo Mo'y Akin as its love theme.

Alden also has an original sont in the album - the romantic sa Aking Tabi by Vince Katindoy, composer of Ngiti.

Alden Richards' Album already reached the top of the Astrovision/Astroplus - available at all record bars nationwide.
