Lyca Gairanod of Team Sarah wins 'The Voice Kids PH'

Winning the hearts of everyone by her charm and talent, 9 year old Lyca wins 'The Voice Kids Philippines.' Lyca made it to the competition by a singing a piece of Aegis band, 'Halik' that made everyone impressive of her performance, then she became a part of the Team Sarah. As Lyca enters the Semi-final rounds, she was the no.1, and no wonder in the Grand Finals she ends it in a high note and win the contest. Ranking second to Lyca is another member of Team Sarah, Darren, followed by Team Bamboo's Juan Karlos and Team Lea's Darlene.

Lyca received P1 million, a one-year recording contract from MCA Universal, house and lot, a home appliance showcase, a musical instrument showcase, and P1 million worth of trust fund.

Mitoy Yonting is the first "Voice of the Philippines"

Philippines searched for its Voice, from thousands of auditions, screened for the Blind Auditions, Battled for their voice to be heard. From the Teams of Bamboo, APL, Sarah and Lea. In the end, Mitoy Yonting from Team Lea is hailed as the first "Voice of the Philippines," Mitoy in the contest stands out, from the beginning he did his best performances that really caught people's attention and therefore he became everyone's' favorite letting him garnered the highest of votes. Mitoy performed Filipino classics "Anak" and "Bulag" for the Finale performance and performed "Total Eclipse of the Heart" and "Help" on the Final Showdown Night.

Mitoy garnered (57.65%) votes ahead from Klarisse(42.35%) Myk(12.81%) and Janice (30.56%).

He will bag, Asian Tour Package, Sony Entertainment Showcase, Ford Focus, 2 Million (Tax Free) and 4-Year Recording contract from MCA Universal Music.

The Voice Philippines started with the Blind auditions where they have compiled their each team, proceeded to Battles, Live Perfromances. Now, The Voice of the Philippines is on its last wave of its Grand Finals as the Grand Finalists were announced.

The blind auditions are halfway done and coaches Apl de Ap, Sarah Geronimo, Bamboo, and Ms. Lea Salonga continue their search to complete the 12-artist slots to form their respective teams in the country’s top-rating and weekly Twitter trending singing-reality show, “The Voice of the Philippines.”

Out of the 12 members required per team, Team Apl, Team Sarah, and Team Bamboo already have six artists each, while Team Lea has five. Joining the team of international hiphop sensation Apl are Thor Dulay, Cora Dela Cruz, Lorenzana Siblings, Sir Lord Lumibao, Moira Dela Torre, and Cara Manglapus, while Junji Arias, Eva Delos Santos, Michaellen Temporada, Morisette Amon, Gab Ramos, and Hans Dimayuga join the team of Popstar Royaly Sarah.

Holding the banner of Team Bamboo or also referred to as Camp Kawayan, are Deb Victa, Lee Grane Maranan, Isa Fabregas, Angelique Alcantara, Myk Perez, and the Cordovales Father & Son while artists Taw Muhammad, Chien Berbana, Darryl Shy, Radha, and Mitoy Yonting are proud to be part of Team Lea.

Who among the next batch of artists will make the cut? Which team will complete its members first? The competition definitely heats up every weekend on “The Voice of the Philippines,” Saturdays, 9 PM, and Sundays, 8:15 PM on ABS-CBN.
