Among those that have accomplished this unique feat are Miss Universe 1969: Gloria Diaz, Miss Universe 1973: Margie Moran-Floirendo, and Miss International 2005: Precious Lara Quigaman. 

As such, the magazine provides a look at how the Philippines’ participation in the institution has since evolved to produce the beauty queens that grace the cover—Miss Universe 2012 First Runner-up: Janine Tugonon, Miss Universe 2010 Fourth Runner-up: Venus Raj, Bb.
