
Exciting news from the Korean entertainment world! K-pop artist Bang Minah, a member of the popular girl group Girl's Day, and accomplished actor On Joo-wan are set to tie the knot.
Their respective agencies confirmed the upcoming nuptials on Friday, July 4th, revealing that the couple plans to hold their wedding in November. The ceremony will be a private event, with attendance limited to their families and close friends.
According to reports, the couple first met in 2016 while working on the drama 'Beautiful Gong Shim,' a project where they coincidentally filmed a wedding scene together. Their relationship is said to have blossomed into love after they reunited for the stage musical 'The Days' in 2021.
Both On Joo-wan's agency, Haewadal Entertainment, and Bang Minah's agency, SM C&C, have released statements asking for fans' well wishes and support as the pair prepares to begin their life together. The agencies also confirmed that both artists, aged 41 and 32 respectively, intend to continue their acting careers following their marriage.
Bang Minah debuted with Girl's Day in 2010, achieving success with hit songs like "Something" and "I'll Be Yours." She transitioned into acting, appearing in dramas such as 'My Absolute Boyfriend' (2019) and 'Delivery Man' (2023). Her performance in the 2021 film 'Snowball' earned her the Screen International Rising Star Asia Award at the New York Asian Film Festival.
On Joo-wan started his acting career in 2002 with the series 'Rustic Period.' His notable roles include appearances in the hit drama 'The Penthouse: A War In Life' from 2020 to 2021, as well as leading roles in 'Man in the Kitchen' (2017) and 'Moon in the Day' (2023).
