For Binibining Pilipinas International 2025 Katrina Anne Johnson, her victory marks a triumphant return to the Binibining Pilipinas stage. After placing as 1st runner-up in the 2023 pageant, Johnson shared that feeling "not 100% content" with her previous journey motivated her comeback. During the crucial Q&A portion, she emphasized the importance of education and creating "safe spaces" within online communities as a means to combat the spread of fake news.
Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2025 Annabelle Mae McDonnell of Iligan City shared a poignant moment during her Q&A. She revealed that the question, which referenced a woman crawling out of a Makati sewer, deeply resonated with her due to her own past experience with "involuntary hunger and malnourishment." McDonnell's response highlighted the theme of not letting one's lowest point define them, encouraging others to "use rock bottom as launchpad" and maintain belief in their aspirations.
