BINI adds to list of growing 2025 milestones with release of ‘Shagidi’

P-pop sensation BINI has just released their latest single, "Shagidi," adding another exciting entry to their already packed year of milestones in 2025. The track dropped on Thursday, June 5, creating buzz among fans and music enthusiasts alike.

This new song sees members Maloi, Colet, Gwen, Stacey, Sheena, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Aiah drawing inspiration from their own childhoods. "Shagidi" nods to the classic Filipino children's chant game "Shagidi Shapopo," beautifully weaving a piece of Filipino culture into their sound as they continue to reach a global audience.

Adding a personal touch, the vibrant cover art for "Shagidi" was designed by none other than BINI member Maloi herself. The song's creation involved a talented group of composers, including OPM singer Angela Ken, Marqueze Parker, Tommy Brown, Courtlin Jabrae, and JBach.

The release of "Shagidi" comes hot on the heels of their well-received EP, *BINIverse*, which featured popular tracks like "Cherry On Top" and "Pantropiko." The timing highlights the group's consistent output and artistic momentum.
