CinemaCon 2025 was buzzing, but the real showstopper? Director Sam Mendes took the stage and announced not just one, but *four* films about the Beatles, all slated for release in April 2028! The audience erupted when the cast was revealed: Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Harris Dickinson as John Lennon, Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr, and Joseph Quinn as George Harrison.

Sony Pictures brought a diverse slate, showcasing a first look at Darren Aronofsky's *Caught Stealing*, updates on the animated *Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse* and Tom Holland's *Spider-Man: Brand New Day*, and even a martial arts demonstration to hype up *Karate Kid: Legends* with Ralph Macchio and Ben Wong.

Universal Pictures arguably stole the show with a grand opening featuring a 43-piece orchestra playing iconic movie scores. Director Jon M. Chu hyped up *Wicked: For Good* with stars Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, offering a sneak peek of the sequel. Wes Anderson's *The Phoenician Scheme* also garnered attention, while the announcement of *Mega Minions* delighted fans. And in true Blumhouse fashion, Jason Blum himself appeared in a bear costume to promote upcoming horror flicks, including *M3GAN 2.0*, which was further teased with dancing M3GAN dolls.

Paramount's presentation, spearheaded by Tom Cruise, started with a poignant moment as Cruise paid tribute to the late Val Kilmer. He then honored Christopher McQuarrie, presenting him with an award before unveiling the trailer for *Mission Impossible – The Final Reckoning*. Channing Tatum and Glen Powell also took the stage to promote *Roofman* and *The Running Man*, respectively.

Warner Bros. Studios brought star power with Leonardo DiCaprio presenting *One Battle After Another*. Lionsgate teased Stephen King adaptations with footage from *The Long Walk*, and showcased Ana de Armas in *Ballerina*, a *John Wick* spin-off, also confirming a fifth *John Wick* film. The presentation ended with a performance by The Weeknd, who also promoted his thriller *Hurry Up Tomorrow*.

Walt Disney Studios offered glimpses into the visually stunning *Avatar: Fire and Ash* and Pixar's *Elio*. Footage from *Fantastic Four: First Steps* was also presented, though without the cast.

MGM Amazon Studios, making their CinemaCon debut, highlighted their commitment to theatrical releases, anchored by Ryan Gosling who charmed the audience while introducing *Project Hail Mary*. They also announced that preparations for the next James Bond film are underway.

CinemaCon culminated with the Big Screen Achievement Awards, honoring Glen Powell as Star of the Year and Cheech Marin for Career Achievement in Comedy.
