GMA Network is yet to show another sure-hit afternoon-prime series this October 25 — Las Hermanas (The Sisters). Top-billed GMA Network’s brightest stars led by Yasmien Kurdi, Jennica Garcia, Faith De Silva, and Thea Tolentino. The series is about the unfortunate happenings Las Hermanas (The Sisters) will experience and how will they be broken and reunited afterward.
Recently, the lead stars of Las Hermanas were present at a virtual bloggers conference:
Yasmien Kurdi plays the role of Dorothy Manansala, the eldest sibling. According to Yasmien, the role was offered to her. She said she was excited to play the role as it is her first time to play the “Ate” role.
Thea Tolentino is Minnie Manansala in Las Hermanas, the middle sibling. She shared the fact that she auditioned for this role, but Thea admitted that it was one of a kind experience of audition since it was done virtually.
Faith De Silva’s character is Scarlet Manansala, the youngest sibling. Faith expresses gratitude as the role was offered to her and this is her first-ever major show.
Jennica Garcia plays Brenda Macario in Las Hermanas. According to her, this is her first villain role. Jennica admits pressure on doing this project as this is her first Kontra-Bida role. Despite her nice performance, she said she thinks she needs more roles like this.
One thing interesting about Las Hermanas is about the director Albert Martinez, who is well-known as an actor. Las Hermanas is also his comeback project to GMA Network. Aside from being the director, Albert Martinez plays the love interest of Faith De Silva’s character.
