TV REVIEW: Ria Atayde in Ipaglaban Mo episdoe “DISGRASYADA”

Ria Atayde was back on TV via her lead performance in the recent Ipaglaban Mo episode “Disgrasyada” where Ria Atayde played the challenging role of Pregnant out of Wedlock.

Ria Atayde has bloomed into a mature actress now, She might not be always visible on TV after her break in “My Dear Heart,” but it seemed Ria Atayde has improved in her acting eventually or should we say it’s “genes” thing, knowing that Ria Atayde comes from an actors’ family — with her mom Sylvia Sanchez and brother Arjo Atayde.

Playing as a Pregnant out of wedlock requires intense and deep emotion in which Ria Atayde has given justice for her role Gladys a teacher who fell in love with his co-teacher Ben, played by Enzo Pineda. Since they are both teachers, when the school found out what has between Gladys and Ben, they dumped Gladys and which also tends Ben to walk away from Gladys and their future child to be born. This is where the tension comes in where Ria Atayde has to stand up for herself and fight for rights. Ria Atayde played well for her character displaying anger, hurt and sadness but at the same time hope to comeback.

During the bloggers’ conference, Ria Atayde mentions a bit pressure for working with the best and veterans people in the industry such as Irma Adlawan, Julio Diaz and with director FM Reyes.
