This year's Shakeys V League Championship was won by National University, beating the Ateneo Blue Eagles volleyball team. Earlier today was held the third game Championship of Shakeys V League between NU Bulldogs and Ateneo Blue Eagles ladies. Ateneo won the first game of championship with three straight sets versus its rival team (NU). But in the second game of the finals, the situation became the other way around, NU won with three straight sets against Ateneo.
In the last game today, the NU maintains the pattern for the three straight win against to nothing from Ateneo. Ateneo and NU's game was a good fight for both teams, Ateneo actually manages to cut every lead points of NU but in the end, NU was able to lead to the end of the match. Ateneo failed to maximize their weapon, Alyssa Valdez. On the other hand, NU's team work did work all-throughout the game, Myla Pablo's great game and points was complimented giving her a reason to be hailed as the MVP.
This end of Shakey's V League is just the start of new fight in volleyball as these girls will be battling soon for NCAA.
