GMA stars Kris Bernal, Lucho Ayala, Sef Cadayona and Max Collins promote Filipino-culture-themed shows
In this modern time, Philippine entertainment today often just focuses in the futuristic and modern kind of shows. Philippine culture has been left behind, thank you to GMA Network and GMA Artists Kris Bernal, Lucho Ayala, Sef Cadayona and Max Collins who decided not to compete with the usual content in TV Shows, instead they remind us of the Filipino culture with shows like Sef Cadayona and Max Collins' "Juan Tamad" and the theater play of Kris Bernal and Lucho Ayala "Noli at Fili Dekada Dos Mil."
Viewers get to enjoy a good laugh about Juan and his daily (mis)adventures brought about by his natural unwillingness to accomplish the simplest of tasks. According to Sef, Juan Tamad not only entertain the viewers but also shows how Juan Tamad overcomes his "Tamad" attitude with the help of Max's character "Mariang Masipag."
On the other hand, Kris Bernal is challenged for her very first theater play "Noli at Fili Dekada Dos Mil" with Lucho Ayala. Noli at Fili Dekada Dos Mil is a modern retelling of Rizal's masterpieces written by acclaimed writer and academic Nicanor Tiongson, Noli at Fili Dekada Dos Mil brillantly captures the revolutionary philosophies of Rizal's two greatest novels, Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo. Together with the visual prowess of theater-stalwart, Soxie Topacio, audience members are promised a powerful and moving theater piece.
Let's support our culture by watching and supporting these kind of shows. Juan Tamad every Sunday at 4:45 PM only on GMA Network. Don't miss Noli at Fili Dakada Dos Mil at the Springs Productions Studios on New Manila (September 18 to September 27).
