Munting Heredera child-star Mona Louise Rey celebrated her 9th Birthday at the Institue for Studies on Diabetes on Marikina. Knowing that Mona is diagnosed for having Diabetes, she have decided to spent her birthday with the kids also fighting Diabetes. The kids were so excited to see Mona. Everybody sang Happy Birthday for Mona, she blew her cakes' candles and started the Birthday Party. The Party gone had fun, the kids danced with the Mascot and played various games with special participation of the child-star Mona Louise that made the kids happier, after the fun and games they ate their delicious meals. After eating meals, the kids enjoyed delicious sugar free cakes and the kids were happy for having a photo op with their idol Mona Louise to serve as a remembrance for the remarkable event. Mona gave a special intermission number, sang every kids favorite - Just Give Me A Reason by Pink, she also gave every kids giftpacks from moosegear.
Mona Louise admits that having Diabetes is difficult mostly in terms of diet, she must avoid foods with high containing sugar. The child-star revealed her Birthday wish is cure not only for her but for all of the kids from Institute for studies on Diabetes and all of the people suffering from this disease.
