ABS-CBN Airs the first ever search for "Mr and Miss Chinatown" this June, following a deal signed by the network and the Miss Chinatown Foundation recently.

32 Filipino-Chinese, Chinese - females(16) and males (16) - aged 18-25, were gatheres for the search competition. The Candidates from the "Mr and Miss Chinatown" came from the most prestigious Universities such as the Ateno de Manila University, De La Salle University, the University of Santo Tomas, and the University of Asia and the Pacific, majoring in a wide range of specialized courses from Entrepreneurial Management to Psychology, and even to Interior and Fashion Design.

Hannah Dy is a pure Chinese but spent her whole life here in the Philippines, she recently she went China for the "Mr. and Miss Chinatown" activity. Hannah mentioned that she was the youngest of all the female contestants, she's still schooling at the University of Sto. Tomas taking up Interior Design. When asked if this is her first time to join a pageant, she said that she already joined pageants but only school pageants in UST. Hannah is a music lover as she performed drums for her Talent Portion. Hannah tells that Filipino-Chinese community is very important mostly to business matters and she believe that Filipino-Chinese are great business men. She played drums for her talent show.
Mr and Miss Chinatown's vision is to redefine Filipino-Chinese beauty and business openmindedness for better business relations, and realize cultural and artistic goals. Alexis Sy Go is the National Directore for Mr. and Miss Chinatown.
