Carlo J. Caparas' Dugong Buhay (lit. Blood Life) is an upcoming Philippine television drama to be broadcast by ABS-CBN that banner Ejay Falcon, Jed Montero, Arjo Atayde and Yam Concepcion in their roles. It is based on the 1983 film of the same title under the direction of Carlo J. Caparas that banner Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr, former Senator Ramon Revilla, Sr., Imelda Ilanan, Eula Valdez, Michael de Mesa, Rosemarie Gil and the late Paquito Diaz. It is set to premiere on April 8, 2013 replacing Paraiso on the network'sKapamilya Gold afternoon block
